RN Labor and Delivery - Des Moines, Iowa

Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Schedule: Every other to every third weekend as needed; every other holiday; no on-call
• Experience: Circulating experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Professional Requirements

• Signed forms including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification)
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check
  • OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check
  • Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check including aliases and locations
  • System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
  • Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
  • Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check)
  • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check

Additional Notes

• Resume and skills checklist (within the last year) plus two professional references required for submission.
• Agency will provide the skills checklist for clinical contractors.
• License and certification verifications must include scanned copies with expiration dates and front/back images where applicable.
• All documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
