Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: No
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: No floating between units or facilities required
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• Local candidates: Not accepted (must be outside 60-mile radius)

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• SCRQSA (CT) certification

Licensure & Documentation

• Valid CT Tech license as applicable
• Copy of Driver’s License/State ID required
• Copy of Social Security Card required
• Background Check:

  • Must include 7 years of residence/work history
  • SSN Trace, Statewide, National Criminal, Sex Offender Registry, FACIS 3, and International searches required
• Drug Screen: 10-panel urine drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Physical Exam: Initial and annual updates required, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Tdap within 10 years or declination form
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if low titer)
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination form
  • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if low titer)
• Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Aug 1 – Mar 31), medical/religious exemptions accepted (no declinations)
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Not required but highly preferred; vaccination records must be uploaded or declination form completed

Compliance & Onboarding

• Facility-specific documents to be completed prior to start, including:

  • Assignment Acknowledgment
  • Code of Conduct review
  • Employee Confidentiality Agreement
  • HR Policy Manual review
  • Systems User Agreement
  • User Access Request
  • Job Description acknowledgment
  • HIPAA Confidentiality Agreement
  • Orientation modules (approx. 4 hours) must be completed before orientation; failure to complete results in being sent home
• Radiation Badge Process:

  • Badge must be obtained before starting patient care duties
  • May take 5-7 days to arrive after ordering
• Respirator Clearance: Annual medical clearance required for respirator use (RespSafety questionnaire)

Additional Notes

• Hurricane Season (June – November): Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams; avoid confirming new or extension assignments during this period if this is a concern
• First-time travelers: May be accepted, but approval is not guaranteed
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations required
• Performance Evaluation: Must be dated within 12 months of start
• Work History Verification: Not required for this facility

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties, ideal for CT Techs with at least 2 years of experience and required certifications, comfortable working with Siemens CT equipment, and able to comply with comprehensive facility onboarding and compliance requirements.
