Work Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts)
- On-call once or twice a week (call days vary)
Job Description
- Dual modality role: CT and X-ray
- MRI scanning skills are a bonus but not required
- Local candidates are welcome
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certifications (Required or Preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) required only for Labor & Delivery (not applicable here)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for all travelers (vendor flexible)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Standard background checks including:
- 7-year search of social security trace, county, nationwide, and sex offender registry
- EPLS/GSA/SAM checks (must be completed annually and within 14 days of start)
- HHS/OIG checks (annual and within 14 days of start)
- Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreement, HIPAA access guidelines, compliance and privacy attestation, and active directory information must be completed prior to start
- COVID-19 vaccination required per Oregon state rules; religious or medical exemptions require facility-specific exemption forms
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start date
- Negative TB test (PPD or Quantiferon Gold) or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; if past positive TB, negative chest X-ray within 6 months plus annual TB questionnaire
- Immunization or titer proof for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
- Varicella (titer, vaccine, or history of chickenpox)
- 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Seasonal flu vaccine or documented declination required for 2025-2026 season
References
- 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 2 years of start)
This position offers a focused CT/X-ray technologist role with a stable 4-day workweek schedule and requires licensure and certifications aligned with Oregon state and facility standards. Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
