Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Travel Contract

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Start Dates: Any Monday from June 29 through July 20 (latest)
  • Shift: Day shift, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekend shifts
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes
  • On-call: No
  • Floating: No floating between sister facilities
  • Schedule: Rotating days including some Saturdays; start times may vary by location, with 6:45 AM preferred
  • Locations: Multiple sites within ~5 to 30 miles radius (floating not required)
  • Guaranteed Hours: Yes
  • Return to Office (RTO): No RTO approved; RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  • Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
  • Must have active ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS credential prior to start

Facility & Work Environment

  • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
  • Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Beds: Over 900 staffed beds
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Uniform: Caribbean blue scrub top and black pants
  • Parking: $125/month (for reference)

Notes

  • No return to office (RTO) will be approved during summer coverage period
  • Floating between multiple locations is not required but may be needed within the main campus
  • Candidates must be prepared for rotating shifts including weekends and some Saturdays
  • Prior travel experience is not required for this position
