Description
CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shifts, 3 consecutive 13-hour shifts (6 PM – 7 AM), starting Monday or Tuesday
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work primarily as a CT Technologist with required experience on Siemens equipment and Epic software.
- Must be available for on-call rotation with staff.
- Floating may be required to a nearby facility approximately half a mile away.
- Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract, rotating with staff.
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment as a CT Technologist
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT(R)) and CT (ARRT(CT))
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment
- Experience with Epic software
Experience Requirements
- Specialty experience: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech) – no explicit years stated, but implied experienced due to Siemens and Epic requirements.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License/State ID with an address within 100 miles of the facility required within 48 hours of signing.
- Background check covering 7 years of history required within 1 year of start date.
- E-Verify or attestation required.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming freedom from communicable diseases.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
- Fit test for masks within 1 year, updated annually.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
- Required immunizations or positive titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
- Two clinical references required.
- Completion of employment application/resume and annual skills checklist.
- Completion of facility-specific compliance paperwork and orientation materials prior to start.
- State license primary source verification must be run within 30 days of start.

- Shift times may vary by ±2 hours depending on unit needs, with advance notice.
- Must comply with on-call and holiday rotation requirements.
- Must complete all required documentation and certifications timely to avoid delays in start date.
- Facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center with over 700 licensed beds.
This position is suited for experienced CT Technologists with Siemens and Epic experience who have completed prior travel contracts and are able to commit to night shifts and on-call duties in a high-acuity hospital setting.
