Description

Travel Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Unit: Neuro ICU
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 2-3 patients
Float required
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month or every other weekend
No time off allowed during specified holidays (including major national and local holidays); holiday time off requests may be addressed onsite after arrival

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted; actual certification required (no screenshots/photos); must not expire within 45 days of assignment start
BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted; actual certification required; must not expire within 45 days of assignment start
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale Certification) – actual downloaded certification required; must not expire within 45 days of assignment start

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS certification
