Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Surgical Floor (Travel/Contract)

Location: Onancock, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Unit: 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a telemetry and surgical floor.
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and Telemetry nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or competency.
