Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cardio Thoracic ICU

Shift Details
- Night shift
- 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Average nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 (both day and night shifts)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed hours
Unit Description
- High acuity Cardiac ICU
- Requires proficiency with Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring
- Nurses will float within scope to other high-volume cardiac ICUs as needed
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) experience, with experience within the last year
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Proficiency with Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring
