Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN - Montana

Job Description

• Provide professional oncology nursing care in an outpatient chemotherapy infusion setting.
• Work as part of the cancer care team in the infusion area.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient health history
  • Administering chemotherapy and managing cancer symptoms
  • Monitoring patients’ physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
  • Educating patients and families
  • Acting as primary communication conduit between patients and physicians
  • Performing triage and direct nursing care
  • Following cancer care policies, nursing procedures, safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
• Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

• Prior travel experience is required for this position.
