Description

ICU RN - Nights

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36


Job Summary

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in ICU and assigned areas.
  • Assess patients upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and diagnostic tests.
  • Participate in planning and implementing written care plans under physician direction.
  • May float to Progressive Care (3N) unit if needed.
  • Holiday and every other weekend availability required.
  • Navy blue scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Hampshire
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • Balloon Pump experience

Additional Information

  • Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
  • The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
