Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job – Burlington, North Carolina
Job Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Call Requirement:
- 12 call days in an 8-week schedule
- Call hours: Weekdays 5 PM – 7 AM, weekends 24 hours (Fri–Mon)
- Assigned 2-3 weekends on call per 8 weeks
Job Description
- Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
- Scrubs provided
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Flexible scheduling required
- Weekends and holidays as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Education verification by a third party, including foreign equivalency if applicable
- Employment verification for the last 5 years
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
- Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year (N95 approved types)
- Pass/fail testing including EPIC and Dysrhythmia/EKG exams as applicable
- Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal
- References: Two supervisory references required from clinical assignments within the last 24 months (one within 12 months)
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history

- Candidates must complete a mandatory questionnaire prior to offer
- Facility requires strict photo standards for badge photos (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire)
- Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies including floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment
