Description
Job Opportunity: Inpatient General Surgery Nurse (RN Medical/Surgical)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Day and night rotating shifts
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
Additional Notes
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential or profile name
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing
- Fit test updates can be done at select locations if assignment is extended
- All background and credential verifications must be completed prior to start date
This position is ideal for experienced Medical/Surgical RNs with prior travel nursing experience seeking a rotating day/night schedule in a hospital setting.
