Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evenings (Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 32 (4 shifts of 8 hours)
Schedule Notes:
- May occasionally float to other facilities.
Job Description
- Must be able to perform both CT and X-Ray procedures.
- Required to start approximately 8-9 IVs per day.
- Experience with outpatient (adult and pediatric) and emergency department (ED) settings.
- Use of PACS and portable imaging equipment required.
- Siemens equipment experience required; Samsung X-Ray preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Experience with infants and pediatrics preferred.

- Abdomen/GI
- Spine/Pelvis
- Head
- Chest/Thorax
- Musculoskeletal
CT:
- Abdomen
- Pelvis
- Head/Neck
- Chest
- Spine
- Brain Perfusion
- CT Angiography (CTAs)
- Multiplanar Reconstruction
ED CT and X-Ray Exams:
- Outpatient CT and X-Ray
- Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores, Perfusion studies)
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT certification in CT
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Licensure & Certifications
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card (required for badge issuance).
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years, including aliases, social security trace, criminal, federal court, sex offender, and education verification.
- Foreign equivalency education evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S.
- Education verification and transcript/diploma as applicable.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start.
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (Qgold/TSPOT within 6 months)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (during flu season)
- Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year (N95 approved types).
- Physical exam (if applicable).
- Fingerprinting (if required by position; note this is mandated for Home Health and Long-Term Care only).
Additional Requirements
- Must complete mandatory questionnaires prior to offer.
- Must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
- Must complete facility-specific documents including health history form, dress code review, floating policy, contractor equipment acknowledgment, and EPIC test (pass required).
- Two supervisory references required from clinical positions (one within 12 months, one within 24 months).
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history required.
- Verification of all employment within the last 5 years through a third-party vendor.
- Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal.
- Pass/fail testing for EPIC and Dysrhythmia/EKG exams (if applicable).
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required.
Notes
- Candidate must be aware of submission to the client and have reviewed the job description.
- Candidate must be able to complete compliance by the deadline (12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date).
- Candidate must submit a professional badge photo meeting strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing).
- Occasional floating to other facilities may be required.
This position offers an opportunity for CT Technologists with radiology and cardiology experience to work in a dynamic outpatient and emergency department environment with advanced imaging technology. First-time travel candidates are encouraged to apply.
