Work Schedule

• Day shift
• 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed

Unit Information

• Approximately 25 vascular procedure cases per day
• Patient types: Vascular procedures
• Call team covers multiple facilities with most emergencies at a Level I trauma center
• Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience in interventional vascular/IR lab in a hospital or medical center setting
• Experience with scrub, circulate, and monitor duties
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) in a hospital or medical center setting
• Experience supporting Operating Room procedures
• Experience with peripheral vascular procedures
• Experience with thrombolytics
• Active ARRT (R) certification or RCIS/CCI certification
• Valid Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (candidates without active license may be considered; issuance timeline varies from 48 hours to 4 weeks)
• Driver’s license
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab discipline
• Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred
• AHA or ARC American Heart Association BLS certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I trauma experience
• ARRT (CI or VI) certification
• Recent professional references from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO
