Description
CT Tech Travel Opportunity – Georgia
Job Details
- Location: Statesboro, Georgia
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, Nights (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Assist physicians and radiologists at a technical level without constant supervision.
- Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans, and related quality control monitoring.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards.
- Manage availability and sterility of equipment and supplies.
- Provide diagnostic services to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients.
- Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Use Cerner EMR system.
- No call or floating required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- At least one completed travel assignment.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) – Radiography license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Additional Information
- No 48-hour shift guarantees.
- Scrub color: Hunter Green.
- No maximum return-to-office restrictions as long as full-time equivalent and weekend requirements are met.
- One major and one minor holiday may be required.
- Responsible for inpatient, outpatient, and ER CT imaging services.
