Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (5 days a week, 8 hours per day)
Shift Times: 6:30am-3:00pm, 7:30am-4:00pm, 8:00am-4:30pm (varies)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Perform nuclear medicine (NM) procedures and processing.
• Operate GE Ventri machine to produce diagnostic results.
• Monitor and record all radioactive materials.
• Maintain quality control on all equipment.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform IV insertion.
• Charting using PACS system (image storage), Xceleris (image processing), and Webhis (final notes and imaging).
• Dress code: Black bottoms, Khaki top, White lab jacket, Black sneakers.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification

Additional Notes

• Fit mask (N95) testing must be completed onsite during orientation.
• Facility requires review and completion of safety brochure quiz.
• All candidates must sign job description corresponding to their specialty.
• Background checks and certifications must be current and compliant with facility policies.

This position is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists with at least one year of experience who are comfortable working day shifts and performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with attention to safety and quality control.
