Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift: Evening, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
• Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Rotation
• No on-call required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT(R)(CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography and CT) certification

Compliance and Screening Requirements

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check
• Wisconsin Caregiver Search within 90 days of start
• 2 professional references verified within 2 years (for inpatient RNs only, one must be from most recent acute care assignment; applicable if relevant)
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Confidentiality statement signed prior to start

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (instant tests not accepted; marijuana positive not disqualifying)

Additional Requirements

• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Color blindness test if working in dialysis/kidney center (not typically required for CT Tech)
• Dosimeter request form required for Imaging Department (not required for MRI Tech specialty)

Notes

• Locals are accepted but at a lower rate
• No call responsibilities
• Shift length and schedule may vary slightly (7-10 hour PM shifts, every other weekend, holiday rotation)
