Registered Nurse First Assistant (Travel/Contract)

Location: Rochester, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Primarily 3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with possible variations including combinations of 2 eight-hour and 2 twelve-hour shifts, or 5 eight-hour shifts depending on department needs
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Weekend: Rotating weekends as needed
Holidays: As needed
On-call/Callback: Required (details provided during interview)
Floating: Required to float to all other Neuroscience locations and the main hospital

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Minimum of 1 year of First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
Certification and license verification will be required as part of the credentialing process

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
