CT Tech Travel Position - Illinois, Chicago

Job Summary

• Perform CT imaging procedures including patient positioning, equipment preparation, and image quality analysis.
• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes appropriately.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control on imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.

Work Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week.
• 50% on-call responsibility, including every other weekend.
• Approximately 36 hours per week.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Radiology Technologist experience.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidates must submit required certifications and documentation as part of the application process.
• Floating between X-ray and CT departments is mandatory.
