Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Lacey, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: Approximately 6 weeks (42 days)


Job Description

This is a proactive posting for the 2026/2027 school year. The client is not yet ready to interview candidates.


Required Qualifications

  • Discipline: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
  • License: Must hold a valid Washington State SLP license.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required.
    • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Education:
    • Must meet state educational requirements for SLPs.
  • Background Checks:
    • Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually.
    • WA State Patrol Search within 12 months of start.
    • Fingerprint clearance through Washington OSPI required.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI with proper documentation.
    • Mandatory Reporter Training certificate (must be renewed annually).
    • Completion of facility-specific forms and acknowledgments each school year.
