Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Lacey, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: Approximately 6 weeks (42 days)
Job Description
This is a proactive posting for the 2026/2027 school year. The client is not yet ready to interview candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Discipline: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- License: Must hold a valid Washington State SLP license.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Education:
- Must meet state educational requirements for SLPs.
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually.
- WA State Patrol Search within 12 months of start.
- Fingerprint clearance through Washington OSPI required.
- Other Requirements:
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI with proper documentation.
- Mandatory Reporter Training certificate (must be renewed annually).
- Completion of facility-specific forms and acknowledgments each school year.
