Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet recognized
Unit Beds: 40 staffed beds on unit; 222 beds in facility
Charting System: EPIC
Parking: Free

Job Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse license in Illinois (no temporary licenses accepted)
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with high-risk cardiology patients and cardiology nursing
Ability to manage cardiac drips and central lines
Experience with EPIC charting system
ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
