Registered Nurse (OR) – Boise, Idaho
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (06:45 - 19:15)
- Call Requirements:
- Two to three 12-hour call shifts per six-week schedule on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00
- Coverage for holiday call if it falls on a weekday
- One “asterisk” call shift per week with possible extension of shift by up to 2 hours (paid as on-call time)
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic nursing within the OR setting.
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Current Registered Nurse license valid in Idaho (license verification must be dated within 30 days of start)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)
Required Health & Compliance
- Fit Test
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (must be completed and resulted before start; excludes THC)
- COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster or approved exemption/declination (valid through October 2026)
- MMR vaccination proof or immunity confirmation
- Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
- Influenza vaccine proof or declination (optional)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with chest x-ray if positive (per regional requirements)
- Varicella vaccination proof or immunity confirmation
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Experience in Trauma, Neurology, and Orthopedics nursing within the OR setting
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
