Registered Nurse (OR) – Boise, Idaho

Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (06:45 - 19:15)
Call Requirements:
- Two to three 12-hour call shifts per six-week schedule on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00
- Coverage for holiday call if it falls on a weekday
- One “asterisk” call shift per week with possible extension of shift by up to 2 hours (paid as on-call time)

Required Experience & Skills

Must have experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic nursing within the OR setting.

Required Certifications & Licenses

Current Registered Nurse license valid in Idaho (license verification must be dated within 30 days of start)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)

Required Health & Compliance

Fit Test
Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (must be completed and resulted before start; excludes THC)
COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster or approved exemption/declination (valid through October 2026)
MMR vaccination proof or immunity confirmation
Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
Influenza vaccine proof or declination (optional)
2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with chest x-ray if positive (per regional requirements)
Varicella vaccination proof or immunity confirmation
Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Experience in Trauma, Neurology, and Orthopedics nursing within the OR setting
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
