Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Dual modality role)
• Shift: Night shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (1:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT-CT certification required
• ACLS (AHA only, RQI acceptable)
• BLS (AHA only, RQI acceptable)
• PALS (AHA only, RQI acceptable)
• National Tech Certification applicable to specialty
• State License verification (primary source online verification)
• NIH Stroke Certification (must be updated annually)

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT-CT certification

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks within 30 days of start, including:

  • Social Security trace and county searches for last 7 years
  • Nationwide and sex offender registry checks
  • Pennsylvania statewide background check (Patch Certificate)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprinting results required prior to start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (with specific rules for past positives)
• Annual TB questionnaire if applicable
• Immunizations or titers within 10 years for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination)
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 1)
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and compliance documents prior to start, including:

  • Emergency Contact Form
  • Orientation Checklist
  • Pandemic Attestation
  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Disclosure Statement
  • Job Description acknowledgment
• Competency exams as applicable with minimum passing score of 80% or Angoff score if higher
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable

Additional Notes

• Workplace Violence Prevention (CPI) training will be completed onsite during orientation; no certificate required beforehand
• Facility will provide first week’s schedule and badge photo requirements
• References: 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
