Description

CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Schedule

  • Night shift: alternating 3 or 4 shifts per week, each 11.5 hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • 5/2 split nights schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off, then repeat
  • Must be willing to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

  • Physical exam within the last 12 months
  • Immunizations or titers required for:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declination form required if declined)
    • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines; boosters if low titer)
    • Hepatitis B series or positive titer (declinations accepted only under specific circumstances)
    • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, history of chickenpox; boosters or declination if negative/equivocal)
    • Flu vaccine required annually during flu season (10/1–3/31) or approved exemption with masking requirement
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months (QGOLD, Tspot, or 2 PPDs) plus TB questionnaire required
  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug test with alcohol test within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Fit testing for respiratory protection required prior to orientation

Documentation and Other Requirements

  • Recent photo for badge (plain background, shoulders up, no head coverings except religious or glasses)
  • Completion of employment application/resume
  • Two professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
  • Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable, updated annually
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
