CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - West Virginia
Location
- City: Buckhannon, West Virginia
Job Details
- Specialty: Xray / CT
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Work Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Hours per Day: 12
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Holidays: Possibly required
- Call: No call or on-call responsibilities
Work Environment
- Imaging Modalities: General radiology, portable X-rays, CT scans
- Equipment: Epic EMR, Toshiba CT, Carestream DR, Canon DR, Fuji PACS
- Radiology Department includes MRI, X-ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography techs
- RT (Respiratory Therapy) available 24/7
- Hospitalist coverage in-house
- ER nurse available for IV team support if needed
- Pharmacy not available 24/7
- Scrub Color: Black
- No floor-specific orientation required
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency (not provided by facility)
Required Certifications and Licenses
- ARRT certification (including ARRT CT)
- West Virginia state license
- BLS Certification
- Must provide an unexpired driver’s license (within 50-mile radius rule)
- Disclosure of any background hits required at time of submission
Additional Notes
- Set shifts as specified above
- Radiation badge responsibility lies with the traveler’s agency
