Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36

Job Description
- Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care.
- Patient ratio typically 1:6.
- Occasional care for non-critical pediatric patients on the floor.
- Floating and call required; call only occurs for census flex prior to scheduled shift if census is low.
- EMR system used: MedHost.
- Scrub color: Any color allowed.
- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated (must be specified in submission).
- No 48-hour guarantees.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico.
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- BLS certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- This is a night shift position with floating and on-call responsibilities.
- The role involves general med-surg nursing duties with some pediatric exposure.
- Candidates must be prepared for the fingerprinting process, which can take several weeks.
