Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Job Description
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Call requirement: On call every 3rd or 4th weekend, starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM.
- Skillset required: Proficient in both peripheral vascular and neurovascular interventional radiology (IR).
- Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies, and procedures such as embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions.
- Department has 4 IR rooms with Siemens single and biplane C-arms; two IR techs per room (one circulates, one scrubs).
- Facility is Level 1 trauma, Level 1 pulmonary embolism (PE), and Level 1 stroke center.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Additional Information
- Call-in shift policy:
- If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift and is 0.9 FTE, the shift must be made up during the pay period or added to the end of the contract if unable to make up.
- For 1.2 FTE, call-in shifts are added to the end of the contract.
- Mandatory completion of facility-specific modules and orientation packets prior to start.
- On-site fit testing available only as a last resort with prior approval.
- Facility uses Siemens single and biplane C-arms in IR rooms.
- Candidates will be paid for time spent completing mandatory modules before orientation.
This position is ideal for interventional radiology technologists with experience in peripheral and neurovascular procedures seeking a travel contract opportunity with a Level 1 trauma and stroke center.
