Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Nights)

Location

  • Dubuque, Iowa

Employment Type

  • Temporary (Temp)
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Shift

  • Nights

Job Description

  • Perform 15-20 CT scans per day
  • Use GE and Siemens equipment (GE highly preferred)
  • Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
  • Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
  • Orientation required (16 hours)
  • Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa
  • Minimum 1.25 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT (R, CT))
  • ARRT certification in CT (ARRT (CT))
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Employee separation policy restricts past employees from working travel in another market within 12 months

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
