Job Opportunity: Technologist - MRI (Days)

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily with Siemens and GE MRI equipment.
• Patient types include Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient (IP), and Outpatient (OP).
• Responsibilities include power injection contrast drips.
• May be required to float across multiple campuses within the local area.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Work schedule: Day shift.
• Holiday work requirement: Must work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
• Orientation dates available.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARMRIT certification or ARRT (R) with MRI (MR) specialty certification.
• Experience working with Level II trauma patients.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.

Additional Information

• New hire orientation is 16 hours.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Scrubs color: Charcoal Gray.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
• Work history must clearly document MRI experience.
