Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Scheduled Saturday through Monday (Days)
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- ARRT certification in CT
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Procedural experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC)
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (required for badge issuance)
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including:
- Social Security Trace with all aliases
- National criminal search, federal court, sex offender registry, FACIS Level 3
- Education verification (primary source, 3rd party)
- International education equivalency evaluation if education obtained outside the U.S.
- Transcript/Diploma for highest education level (required for lab positions; not required for CT Tech)
- Fingerprinting (NC SBI Fingerprint Results) required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions (not required for CT Tech)
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
- Verification of all employment within last 5 years through a third-party vendor
- Two supervisory references from clinical assignments within last 24 months (at least one within 12 months)
- Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Badge photo meeting strict guidelines (no selfies, no hats, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing)
- Completion and upload of Health History Form prior to clearance
- Review and sign Floating Policy and Contractor Equipment Acknowledgement Form
- Review and acknowledge Dress Code
- Completion of EPIC test with passing score (80% or higher), with up to 2 attempts allowed; additional attempts require manager approval
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing for EPIC and Dysrhythmia/EKG exams (if applicable)
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start (includes THC, opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, etc.)
- Proof of adult Tdap vaccination (no exemptions accepted)
- TB testing: Qgold/TSPOT within 6 months of start or chest X-ray if positive history
- Annual TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 MMR vaccines at least 28 days apart; medical exemptions require documentation
- Hepatitis B: Titer or declination; if non-reactive, must complete 3-shot series or declination
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart; medical exemptions require documentation
- Fit mask test (N95) completed within current calendar year and updated annually (not required for CT Tech)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (9/22/2025 – 2/27/2026)
Testing and Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (as applicable) with minimum passing score of 80%
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for all RNs except Behavioral Health or Case Managers (not applicable for CT Tech)
- Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication required for RNs (not applicable for CT Tech)
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Compliance documents must be completed by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
