Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Work in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department handling both inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Role includes managing traumas and emergencies.
- On-call requirement: minimum 7 days per month and 1 weekend (weekends are closed, so call is taken).
- Charting system used: Epic.
- Scrub color: Blue.
- Preferred experience at Level 1 or 2 trauma centers.
- Open to first-time travelers and local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- IV Certification.
- Trauma nursing experience.
