Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in New Jersey, requiring ACLS/BLS certifications and on-call availability including weekend call coverage.
Details
- Interventional Radiology department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Procedures include traumas and emergencies in addition to routine IR cases
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:15 PM
- On-call requirement of a minimum of 7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month (department is closed on weekends, so coverage is handled via call)
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of IR nursing experience required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current professional references required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Blue scrubs are required
- Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Candidates with open or active background or license hits will not be considered
