Registered Nurse (Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult) - Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Job Summary

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care/medical-surgical observation unit. Care includes patients with orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses. The role involves planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using specialized nursing knowledge.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks (may replace guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs)
• Average 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• Must agree to radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• CAPS requirement: must apply ASAP; may take up to two weeks to obtain (state-specific credentialing)
• Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for onboarding
