Description

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

Provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at elevated risk for instability. Work in a setting with advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oregon
  • Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
