Job Opportunity: Critical Care Float Nurse
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening shifts, 8 or 12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend and some holidays required
- Typical weekly hours: 36
Unit Experience
- Multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery
- Experience with IMC/Progressive and General Care populations
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Intermediate Care (IMC) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) populations
- Experience in Neuro ICU
- Experience in Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU)
- Experience in Burn ICU
- Experience in Trauma ICU
