Description
CT Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Redmond, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Predominantly swing shifts (12:30 PM – 11:00 PM), with some night shifts (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) required
- Call: Optional, not required to take call
- Facility size: 35-bed hospital with a 14-bed Emergency Department
- Daily caseload typical for the department
- No floating outside scope of practice
- Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted (proof of address required)
- Pending state license accepted
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: max 7 total days in the 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Special Procedures & Equipment
- Procedures: Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, vascular CTA
- Equipment commonly used: GE systems, PACS
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check (updated annually) including: SSN trace, counties lived/worked/school, FACIS L3, DOJ sex offender search, nationwide check, education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 90 days of start
- Diploma or transcript required on file
- Education verification (highest level) required
- Facility-specific documents (confidentiality agreements, compliance attestations, emergency contact form) must be signed and on file within 48 hours of signing and no later than 2 Wednesdays prior to start
- Photo for badge: passport-style with solid background, time sensitive
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations/vaccinations:
- TDAP within 10 years (vaccine or declination accepted)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster or declination accepted for low/equivocal titers)
- Hepatitis B: positive titer required (vaccine series alone not acceptable; booster or declination accepted for low/equivocal titers)
- Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster or declination accepted for low/equivocal titers)
- TB testing: Negative QGold within 1 year; for positive responders, negative chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire required (TSpot and PPD no longer accepted as of 4/2026)
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (not required annually)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or agency declination/exemption required during flu season (deadline 12/01)
- COVID vaccine preferred but not required; vaccination record or declination/exemption required
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually
Competency & Skills Verification
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Competency exam as applicable by specialty
- Annual skills checklist required
