Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Arizona
Location
- City: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 4 shifts per week, plus on-call duties
- May require working varied or odd hours when on call, including emergency cases on short notice
Job Summary
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room (OR)
- Circulate in multiple specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged
- Nursing process includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
Housing
- Limited housing options available
- Shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability
- No family or pets allowed
Orientation & Other Information
- Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
- COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
This position offers the opportunity to work in a culturally rich and diverse community serving Native American tribes and other populations in a semi-desert region of Northwestern Arizona.
