Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location
- Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Four 10-hour shifts (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
- On-call 1-2 shifts per week from 05:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical cases and manage all nursing care within the operating room
- Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective
- Assist the team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients during surgery
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients in the Operating Room
- Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery system
- Neuro-spine, cranial, and neurosurgery experience
- Orthopedic trauma experience
- Experience using Cerner EMR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Valid Driver's License
