Description

Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location

  • Juneau, Alaska

Employment Type

  • Contract position
  • Contract length: 39 weeks (school year)

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • Paid only for hours worked; no pay for school holidays or closings

Job Description

  • Position covers the school year from approximately mid-August to the end of June
  • Contract end date extends beyond last school day to cover any additional days or situations
  • Extended School Year (ESY) requires a separate contract

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with an active state license in Alaska
  • Experience working in school settings preferred

Additional Information

  • Time off requests and scheduling will follow the school calendar
  • Candidate must be able to work within the school calendar and adhere to non-paid days such as holidays and school closings
