Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Case Management)
Location
- Weirton, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Specialty
- Case Management (CM) and Utilization Review (UR)
Work Setting
- Inpatient Medical Care (IMC), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), inpatient rehab, skilled care
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday through Friday
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- No weekends, no holidays, no on-call
Patient Load
- 15-20 patients/consults per day
Job Duties
- Initial patient assessments
- Discharge planning
- Continued stay and placement authorizations
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)
- One of the following specialty certifications preferred:
- CCM (Certified Case Manager)
- ACM (Accredited Case Manager)
- C-SWCM (Certified Social Work Case Manager)
- CBHCM (Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Minimum of 3 years of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
