Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

  • 13 weeks (includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation)

Work Schedule

  • Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (typically Monday-Friday with one weekday off; day off may vary based on staffing needs)
  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Job Description

  • Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician role
  • Requires experience in Maternal Fetal and OB ultrasound

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients and as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NT (Nuchal Translucency)
    • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
  • Active state license valid in Washington (compact license accepted)
  • Will accept first-time travelers (no prior travel experience required)
  • Must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (locals not eligible)

Orientation & Hiring Notes

  • Manager interviews all candidates who receive an auto-offer
  • Return-to-Offer (RTO) expected within 3 days or less

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Social Security Card (as applicable)
  • Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
  • Education verification (degree/diploma/transcripts as applicable)
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment
  • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work with or without accommodation
  • Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant tests acceptable)
  • Immunizations and health requirements:
    • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer (declination accepted)
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer (declination accepted)
    • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
    • COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
  • Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use (travel only)
  • Fit mask testing required for travel candidates (annual update)
  • Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
  • WA State Patrol background search required within 90 days of start (for Washington placements)
  • Other state-specific and facility-specific compliance as applicable

  • Floating to other nearby facilities may be required as per float policy
  • No weekend or holiday shifts
  • No call responsibilities
  • Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
