Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract

Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with rotating day off
Call: Required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays; must respond and arrive within 30 minutes
Work Environment: Hospital Cath Lab, 24/7 operation
Overtime: Typical, with flexible start/end times

Job Summary

Provide radiologic services in the Cath Lab to all patients and settings served. Responsible for cardiac-related imaging and procedures, including ECG interpretation and special procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Arkansas
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Cardiac imaging experience
• ECG interpretation experience
• Experience with special procedures

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for 8-12 hours per shift
• Occasionally lift 50+ pounds of equipment and assist patients weighing 125+ pounds
• Push wheelchairs with patient and equipment weighing over 150 pounds
• Prolonged computer use (8+ hours)
• Must respond quickly in emergencies (CPR, equipment retrieval)
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
• Keen hearing and visual acuity to monitor patient status and equipment alarms

Work Schedule & Call Expectations

• Normal hours Monday through Friday with rotating day off
• Call coverage required nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to arrive onsite within 30 minutes when called

Additional Notes

• Position is safety sensitive under Arkansas medical marijuana regulations
• Must maintain all required documentation and renewals as specified
• Orientation and compliance training required before starting assignment
