Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Specialty: Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse
• Shift: Monday to Friday, Day shift (7:30 AM or 8:00 AM start; 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM end)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
• Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
• Setting: Outpatient oncology/hematology infusion center
• Patient Population: Adult oncology and hematology patients receiving outpatient infusion services, including solid tumors (breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, gynecologic), hematologic malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma), and benign hematology conditions
• Services Provided: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, injections, supportive care, port access, central line management, infusion reaction management
• Technology: Epic/Beacon electronic health record system, infusion pumps (including CADD pumps), Dynamap vital sign monitors, telemonitoring for infusion patients
• Additional Info: No blood products or transfusions administered at this location
• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Hematology / Oncology experience with 2 years of experience
• Hematology / Oncology experience within the last year
• BLS
• Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call duties
• Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling accommodations available
• Candidates must be located outside a 100-mile radius (locals not accepted)
• Return to office (RTO) restrictions ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed hours subject to client cancellation policy (up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penalty)
