Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Summary
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Work Setting: Cath Lab (Diagnostic and Interventional) with 3 rooms
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Floating: Yes, within facility and scope of practice, including all Cath Lab areas
- Call Requirements: STEMI call on weekends and weekdays
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required to work major holidays depending on number falling within assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

- Electronic Health Record System: Epic (Cupid)
- Other Systems: Pyxis, SBAR communication tool
- Scrub Color: Provided by facility
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- Compliance: Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
- Clinical Screening: Candidates will undergo clinical screening to determine fit before final manager approval
- Locals accepted at the same rate
