Role Summary
- Interpret the plan of medical care and assess nursing care decisions
- Provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care
- Evaluate nursing care for groups of patients
- Maintain accurate reports and records
- Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
- Record medical information and vital signs
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and condition
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Onboarding Requirements
- Nurse aide registry check
- Respirator medical clearance attestation, if fit testing is required for the skill
- Orientation summary
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- TB test documentation or negative TB blood test
- Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Criminal background check
- Massachusetts CORI check
- SSN trace
- National sex offender check
- Exclusion checks
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form
