RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Alexandria, Louisiana
- Full-time day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 2 openings
- Temp-to-perm is possible
Unit Details
- Patient population includes cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and devices
- Weekend coverage is every third or fourth weekend
- On-call is required, scheduled in collaboration with other staff
- Dress code: Galaxy blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Additional Notes
- New hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
- New hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete organizational entry competency validation, a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation, and annual competency verification
- Critical care experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted
