CT Technologist
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Danbury, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4x10 hours, 21:00–7:00
- Hours: 40 per week
Role Summary
- This role includes both CT and X-ray responsibilities.
- The CT technologist must be able to perform x-rays unassisted.
- Typical volume is 6–10 exams per shift.
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Must be able to perform the listed CT exam types and procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular chest, carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, brain perfusion, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, 3D rendering, ROI measurement, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
- Must follow radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
Schedule / Assignment Details
- No call
- No float
- No weekend requirement
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
Unit / Patient Population
- Patient ages include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Low-volume critical access setting
- Approximate unit size: 30 beds
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Navy blue scrubs
- Orientation occurs during the first and second week
- The unit uses Meditech, and training will be provided if needed
