PCU RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

Johnson City, Tennessee

Schedule

Night shift
3x12 hours
36 hours per week
No call
Floating required
36/36 schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Assignment Details

13-week contract
16 hours of nonbillable orientation
General orientation begins on Sundays
Must be comfortable floating and working higher ratios
Ratio may be 1:7 when floated to medical-surgical

Additional Notes

One shift may be canceled or called off every two weeks without financial penalty if census decreases
Extra shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed based on census or resource needs
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
