Registered Nurse (Operating Room)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temp
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8 hours per day

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR)
Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Documents

Work history
Operating Room Circulate skills checklist, current within 1 year
Operating Room Scrub skills checklist, current within 1 year
1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)

Additional Job Details

10/12-hour shifts are not available; the assignment requires five 8-hour shifts
Travelers within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Traveler must have their own vehicle
Requested time off must be included at submission and is limited to 5 days or fewer
8 hours of non-billable orientation
Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
CNOR is preferred

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
