ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
  • Weekly hours: 48
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Start timeframe: 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance

Unit Details

  • Specialty: MICU
  • Patient ratio: 1:2
  • First-time travelers: Accepted
  • Floating: May float within the ICU service line, including MS areas within that service line
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

  • 1.5 years of MICU experience
  • Less than 2 years of experience requires Level I experience

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
